Super Junior successfully wraps up “Super Show 4″ World Tour with their encore concerts in Seoul

Super Junior‘s ‘Super Show 4‘ World Tour heated up the stage in Seoul once again.

On the 26th at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul, an amazing 11,000 ELF’s were in attendance for Super Junior’s encore concert. Super Junior promised their beloved ELFs,“We will create unforgettable memories”, and kept true to their word. Super Junior put on charismatic and powerful stages, leaving fans with excitement for the entire 3 hours and 30 minutes of the concert.

Super Junior performed a parade of their hit songs including “Mr. Simple“, “Sorry, Sorry“, and “Bonamana“. Each member also performed their own stage and showed off their individual talents and charms.

Super Junior’sRyeowookperformed a sexy cover of Maroon 5‘s “Moves Like Jagger“,Eunhyuk performed “Sorry Sorry – Answer“, and leaderLeeteukshowed his drumming skills through his performance of “Party Rock Anthem“. Main vocal Yesung sang Boohwal‘s “The More I Love” while Kyuhyun sang to “Etude of Memories“.Siwon performed a Christian song, “Your Grace is Enough“, alongside a band. Shindongbrought a cheerful performance of Nam Jin‘s “With You” andSungminshowed off his vocal skills through his cover of Ne-Yo‘s “One In A Million“.

Leader Leetuk stated,“Although we performed in many cities around the world, maybe because our parents are here today we feel even more nervous. Because of you, we were able to perform with all of our strength. We will not talk about an end. Please look forward to our 6th album.”

Super Junior successfully began their “Super Show 4″ World tour in Seoul last November and then went to Osaka, Taipei, Singapore, Macau, Bangkok, Paris, Shanghai, Jakarta, and Tokyo. The boys held a total of 24 shows worldwide and successfully concluded the tour with the encore concerts in Seoul on the 26 and 27th.

Super Junior’s Ryeowook and Infinite’s Sunggyu to appear on Immortal Song 2 as regular guests

Super Junior’s Ryeowook and Infinite’s Sunggyu will join KBS 2TV’s Immortal Song 2as regular guests.

On May 28, KBS announced that Ryeowook and Sunggyu recently decided to appear onImmortal Song 2as regular guests. Their first appearance on the show will be made on June 6.

Ryeowook is a very talented singer who has experience in musicals. He’s currently active as a radio program DJ.

Sunggyu is a leader and a main vocalist of Infinite. He’s one of the most talented singers of all idol group members.

As Super Junior and Infinite are both characterized by fancy, powerful performances, people are looking forward to seeing their performances on Immortal Song 2.

Ryeowook and Sunggyu’s first performances can be watched on June 16 and 23.

Super Junior’s 6th album coming soon!

“There will be a sixth album.”

This is what Leeteuk revealed last May 27 during the last leg of their Super Show 4, which was held at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. The leader of Super Junior went on saying,“Our sixth album will be released before I go to serve my military duties.”

This news was confirmed by SM Entertainment. “It is true that Super Junior is currently working on their sixth album,” said SME through a phone conversation.

After the major success of Mr. Simple, Super Junior’s fifth album, fans worldwide are highly anticipating this sixth album.

Wrapping up their world tour, Super Junior held their ‘Super Show 4 Encore’ stage last May 26 and 27 at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. During the said world tour, the group toured ten cities, performed 24 times, and received love from a total of 400,000 audience members.

Super Junior are currently working on their sixth album

Super Junior will release their new album before Leeteuk joins the army.

On May 27, Leeteuk announced, “We’re currently working on our sixth album and it will be released before I join the army,” at Super Junior World Tour Concert – Super Show 4 that took place at the Gymnastics Stadium at Olympic Park.

SM Entertainment also reported, “Super Junior are currently working on their new album. Because Leeteuk is planning to join the army within this year, the album will be released this summer.”

Super Junior released their fifth albumMr. Simplelast August and received wide attention.

Super Junior met over 400,000 fans from various different countries by holding a live concert 24 times in ten cities for last six months.

Google goes gaga for K-pop stars

On Monday, K-pop giants flocked to Google headquarters near San Jose, California, for a three-hour performance that coincided with YouTube’s seventh birthday.

The performances by Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, TVXQ, Wonder Girls, Kara, Beast, Sistar and MBlaq brought in some 22,000 K-pop fans to the venue. The show was co-hosted by Google and MBC and was streamed live via YouTube.

More than 3,000 Google and YouTube employees also chose to watch the show and one worker, Jacque Herbert, said that workers at the Internet giant are fans of K-pop.

“There is not a Googler who is not aware of the growing popularity of K-pop,” Herbert said.

The fact that the day of the concert was YouTube’s seventh birthday made the show even more memorable.

“There’s no better way to mark the company’s seventh birthday than a K-pop concert. It’s a worldwide trend that blends perfectly with YouTube,” a representative from Google Entertainment said.

Super Junior’s Siwon shares photo of Japanese nobleman that resembles Eunhyuk

Super Junior‘s Siwon revealed a photo of Eunhyuk‘s look-alike viaTwitter.

On May 23rd, Siwon uploaded the above photo and wrote, “A Japanese fan sent me this photo. This terminates all of Eunhyuk’s look-alikes. Case closed.”

The photo featured a page from a Japanese book. In the photo, the Japanese nobleman exhibited a close resemblance to Eunhyuk with his slender face and stretched eyes.

Followers who saw the photo commented, “Is he Eunhyuk’s ancestor? They do kind of look alike“, “They don’t look that much alike, but it’s really funny“, and “Does this mean there won’t be anymore Eunhyuk look-alikes?”

Meanwhile, Super Junior will be performing an encore concert of their world tour on May 26th and May 27th in Seoul.

Leeteuk disturbs Tiffany’s emceeing? “It’s a misunderstanding.”

The production crew of K Pop concert tried to clarify and explain about the controversy of Leeteuk in response to netizens’ criticism.

On May 21 at California Amphitheatre,Korean Music Wave in Googlethat MBC, Google, and Youtube co-hosted was held and broadcast live on Youtube.

At the end of the concert, all the stars reappeared on stage singing “Arirang.” After singing the song, Leeteuk held the microphone and closed the ceremony by saying, “We who have different languages and appearances have united as one in music.” However, few netizens criticized him for saying the closing line when SNSD’s Taeyeon and Tiffany were MCs of the event and not him.

A local publicist of MBC explained, “I believe that the criticism is from some misunderstanding of the situation. The director of the concert asked Leeteuk who has a lot of experience in emceeing, to wrap up the big live concert.”

He also stated, “It’s nonsense that he disturbed Tiffany’s emceeing. Leeteuk coming on stage with a microphone shows that it has been planned beforehand.”

Leeteuk also tried to explain himself on Twitter by posting, “I was asked to wrap up the concert with closing lines after singing the ending song ‘Arirang.’ I would like to give my sincere apologies if saying the closing line with the producer’s request is a wrongdoing. If not, I would like to politely ask you not to criticize me.”

Many top stars performed in this concert including TVXQ, Super Junior, Wonder Girls, SNSD, Kara, B2ST, Mblaq, Sistar, and f(x). Youtube MBC K-pop Channel and Youtube Presents Channel received so much attention that 190,000 comments were posted simultaneously. The concert will air on MBC soon.
